Washington vs Notre Dame

Wow Huskies just returned a backward pass fumble for a TD to take a 14-9 lead.

Washington's line gets no push on 3 possessions inside the ND 1... Are they this bad, Or is ND's D this good?

ND holds on for the win. It seemed everytime I turned on the TV, Washington had the ball on the one yard line but was unable to convert it into a TD.

I wonder. Really, how bad can ND's defense really be though? I mean, they land a top 5 recruiting class every year, they have to be loaded with some supreme athletes. I am glad that they constantly under perform but I still think they have quite a bit of talent.

I really wish this game could have ended in a 0-0 tie.

I amazed at how unimaginative, and uninspired UW's goal line offense was, especially with the game on the line...

9 tries from 1st and goal, in regulation, and they lose by a TD, in OT?

Unbelievable!

I can understand the logic of wanting Locker to QB sneak in short yardage situations, but after about the 5th time the center gets smashed back into him for no gain, it seems like the coach would finally reach the conclusion there is a matchup issue with that play call.

Should have used the "Statue of Liberty"... ;)

I am sure somebody could have shown 'em a demonstration video!

The direct snap to the running back while the QB threw his hands in the air faking like the snap was high worked pretty well.

Maybe the Fuskies could have used a page from that play book!

Anyone else see only Jacker Locker go to midfield as a captain for the start of OT coin toss? ND has 4 guys, Washington had only 1.

Seems to be the story of Locker's career at Washington. He can't do it all by himself..

Clash of the Titans....? Hardly...... Both of these teams are nothing more than "Has Beens" trying to get back any resemblance of their histories.....The only difference between these two teams is that Washington isnt specifically referenced/named in the BCS rules/regulations.

Other than that, if they both lost the balance of their games, it wouldnt make a rats a_ _ difference to me....
As a matter of fact, I would revel and celebrate in that possibility...But then, thats just me...lol
