Holy s*** you're right. That's awful if true. Can't find any details online but that Instagram post is extremely alarming.

I don't want to spread rumors but on Twitter someone said killed in a car accident. That's completely unsubstantiated at this point, I want to make that very clear, but that's what is out there so far.

Confirmed by KEZI and Eugene PD that Leiato was the one killed in this morning's accident. Sad day for the program and his family.

a bunch of the ducks have his #19 on their twitter. Lenoir, Graham and Pickett I remember as well as others, very sad story.

I'm guessing he's referring to the fact the driver lied to police, after moving the body and covering it up in the brush. And the body wasn't found until 5 hours later when a lady saw his hand.

This is terrible and disgusting. He hid the body after the crash before the cops got there. Then told police no one was with him. This could turn into a homicide instead of manslaughter.

WOW!!!! Did not hear that, I thought he ended in the bushes by being thrown from the car. If he laid there dying in the brush it's going to be bad for the drunk kid....... old enough to live out his life in prison....... murder charges.
