The south, after USC, seems like any team could be #2 in that division.

The Pac12 north feels like the NBA western conf. and the pac 12 south is like the NBA east.

North:
1. Washington - Nine returning starters on defense and a veteran QB & RB. Hard not to have them in 1st.
2. Oregon - With a healthy Herbert and advantageous schedule, Oregon locks down second
3. Stanford - Looking at a major rebuild on defense and a very tough schedule
4. Cal - Wilcox improves Cal again this season
5. Wazzu - Lost QB, top receivers, coaches, distractions.....they take a step back this year.
6. Oregon State - Lack of talent and a 1st year coach lines up to maybe 1 conference win this year.

South:
1. Arizona - The AZ offense is going to be awesome. I think the defense makes a big jump this year as well. Have a favorable schedule and miss UW and Stanford this year.
2. Utah - The other team with significant experience on offense in the south.
3. USC - Lost a ton. They have talent, but are severely lacking experience. Coaching is suspect as well.
4. UCLA - QB with no experience to run Chip's offense? Not going to go well this first year.
5. Colorado - Lack talent to compete with the other teams above them.
6. ASU - Lack talent to compete with the other teams above them.

No playoff teams this year.
