Throckmorton got absolutely beat there on that sack. Really makes you wonder how they'd done with Sewell in there instead.

The reception over the interception gave WSU a momentum shift and they kept it.

Yep. That was the turning point. We were walking on a tightrope the whole second half and that was where things finally broke against us.Merganzer wrote:The reception over the interception gave WSU a momentum shift and they kept it.

Ultimately we weren't ready for the moment.

Really a poor game all around. What the hell is with our running game? It's a joke.

Oregon learned a valuable lesson tonight in not getting too high after a big win and then coming out flat the next weekend.

Yessir, you're absolutely correct. Disappointing showing tonight. Passing D didn't show, and offense took until the third quarter to do anything.

Only 270 yards on 44 passing attempts. Combine that with a pitiful ground game and I'm pretty much wishing Helfrich was running this offense.

It just seems weird when everyone was saying this was a trap game and Oregon was going to come out flat and then it happens. It seems like something they could prepare for if everyone thought this is what was going to happen.
