Currently, Mitchell has 35 receptions for 561 yards. The record for receptions is 77, achieved by Sammie Parker, 2003, Jeff Maehl, 2010. Yardage is 1140 by Josh Huff in 2013. In the remaining games, counting a Bowl, Mitchell needs to average 6 receptions per game, he's currently at 5.8 to tie, anything over 6 to break the record. For yardage he is at 93.5, and would need only to average,82.9 to break.

Definitely has a good chance for it. If Herbert goes to the draft and DM is healthy, I think it might be in his best interest to go too and strike while his iron is hot.

6th most receiving yards in the nation, and he's only about 30 yards away from breaking Oregon's single season receiving yards record.

Yup, to break the single season records Mitchell needs:
36 receiving yards
10 receptions
4 TDs

The touchdown record seems unlikely, but possible. The bowl game stats count as official, if Mitchell plays in the bowl game.
