brutal opening series. after the lubbock trip the schedule opens up dramatically, so don't hang your head if we get blasted next weekend. the rest of the non-con is very doable, and the first two pac-12 series are in eugene.

Well usually the team loads it up with EASY W's against low level teams before getting hit with reality with Pac12 pitching.
The team has always had nice preseason trips though, pulling out the big bucks to go to Hawaii, Las Vegas. No wonder the players like Horton.

this non-con schedule is pretty similar to every other one we've had. one good series opponent and/or tournament, then a few creampuffs.

Is there a way to watch these games online?

i think only deluca, steer, and matthews were with the program last year. and yovan, obviously. two JC transfers and four freshmen -- hopefully they can provide some support for deluca, steer, and matthews.

ah! apologies, i'm in the same boat. i didn't realize it was a $$ stream when i posted that.

1-0 tech after 2. yovan allowed a walk and he scored on a hit-and-run single a batter later.

zavala hit a double in the top of the 2nd, he's been our only base runner.

3-1 ducks, top 3

tanner smith singled, deluca walked, steer singled to score smith, matthews doubled them both in.

Hey what do you know, a couple 2 out hits from Smith and Matthew, and Oregon is off to a nice start.

still 3-1 oregon, on to the 4th.

yovan left after 2, north eugene grad robby ahlstrom comes in and pitches the 3rd.

not... sure why yovan left. hopefully just a super conservative pitch count, 'cause we can in no way afford to lose him.

Ducks up 4-1 in the T4 after Foxcroft hits an RBI double to score Zavala.

TTU makes a pitching change but he subsequently hit a batter to load the bases with one out.

DeLuca then singles home another to make it 5-1. Bases still loaded with one out.
