Ducks win 12-5. Nice 2-0 start to the season. Double-header tomorrow with an 8 AM game against Missouri and another one at 4 PM against Bradley.

Maybe there's a chance for a respectable season in here somewhere...

I was impressed with Dail, except, I'm not sure she can go a full game. I told my wife that she was pitching great but tiring. Then the collapse. She was more impressive than McGrandle today. We definitely need more depth at pitcher. Very impressed with freshmen. Missouri is probably going to be a little tougher opponent than today.

What we witnessed today makes the mass exodus even more puzzling in some ways... There's obviously some decent talent on this squad, which leads one to suspect leavening that with a little high level leadership and experience could have gone a long way with this group.

Ten freshmen and what, six walk-ons? Heck of a start for this team. THe players leaving is a curious situation.
