So former Duck KBW has a double-double for LSU against Yale but he just fouled out with 10 to go as the Bulldogs have gone on a run to only be down 7, 50-57. Tigers are playing without their coach following the "hell of an offer" phone call.

10 Minnesota, coached by Richard Pitino, son of Rick, beats 7 Louisville, 86-76. 12 New Mexico State hangin' with 5 Auburn, 32-29 at halftime.

Auburn lucks out after New Mexico State missed a free throw with 1.1, then survived a clean 3-point attempt at the buzzer.

My bracket stinks. Yale decided not to hit a shot today until the end.

Marquette gets plastered by 12-seed Murray State. We have been hearing all year how awful the Pac 12 is. Pat Forde was blathering on about how Oregon should only get in to the Big Dance if it was to replace another team from our conference. Well, so far the Big East are the ones getting embarrassed. First St John's loses to Arizona State, and now Marquette is the first real upset of the tournament. Hopefully St Mary's can keep it going against Villanova. The Gaels are up 30-28 at the half.

Some big mistakes down the stretch by St Mary's helps Villanova move to the second round, 61-57.

Yeah, that was a bummer, but Seton Hall is down by 10 to Wofford at the half, so the narrative that the Pac 12 is not the worst conference is still intact.

If none of our three teams win a game tomorrow I guarantee that narrative will be loud this weekend.

Well that's an amazing upset for us if we can take care of business against the badgers.

Virginia down at the half to Gardner_Webb and Tennessee only up four points on Colgate. Could the Ducks be the team to come out of this region? That would be amazing. Unfortunately, it feels more like a great setup for Wisconsin.

Well, never mind about my Wisconsin worries. Seems like Happ wasn't all he was cracked up to be. How is everyone's bracket? Mine is getting hammered, but I do have Oregon meeting (and beating) UC Irvine in the next round, so there is at least one little section that remains intact.
