They have to cater the games for the Men's Tournament. I got a nice chuckle during our game when the female broadcaster had to "stand-up" for ESPN after Sabrina's comments about ESPN and Women's sports in general.OregonFan4Life wrote:11:00 AM?! That's Church time for some of us!
They have Dave Pasch do so many games that he has zero time to actually game-plan and learn who any of the players are beyond the ones everyone already know. They did the games in Eugene last week and there was one point where it had to be close to 40 seconds of real-time dead air because they had nothing to talk about and didn't know who were making plays on the court to even talk about them. Every year I despise TV PxP more and more. I can't do JVG and Mike Breen games, its a trope of broken records.

So, in a way, Pasch having Walton is a good thing, as Walton doesn't believe in dead air; doesn't matter if what he's talking about is relevant...to anything.Duck07 wrote:They have to cater the games for the Men's Tournament. Crowd sounds great. Even MSU has some representation.

MSU only has 1 foul while Oregon has 6 but that may be partially due to Oregon shooting (and making) so many threes. May need to start driving a bit more to even that up.

I think part of the foul problem is trying to control McCowan. She's a pretty big advantage for MSU.

I am at the game and it legitimately LOUD....great pro Ducks energy...Tray Dub wrote:Crowd sounds great. Even MSU has some representation.
Ducks have been shooting great but no fouls on MSU...early on they swallowed their whistles on MSU fouls and have been calling some weak ones on Oregon.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Tied at 59 all entering the 4th. While they'll need Ionescu to score more than she did in the 3rd, they also can't have her do all one-on-one stuff like she tried against OSU in Corvallis.
