Given the situation, Oregon needs to fill spots.greenyellow wrote:Latest offer has gone out to 2019 G Niven Glover, a 3* HS teammate of CJ Walker who's gotten a few P5 level offers in the last month. Based on the videos/scouting reports, he's an athletic slasher who's got a bit of an inconsistent jumper (which is basically what Victor Bailey was) but is an aggressive defender. With how late the offer is coming, he does feel like a spot filler who may only stick around short-term, especially if Walker is as good as advertised and leaves after a year or two.

Hopefully, posting about it twice will help.
This could help, too: https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2019/0 ... esday.html

Re: Potential 2019-20 roster additions
I think in lot of the ways he’s more important than his 5 star teammate. He looks good enough to play early, and if he develops can be a four year contributor. CJ is likely one and done but if his good buddy is here maybe he sticks around another year? Hope we get him!Merganzer wrote:Given the situation, Oregon needs to fill spots.greenyellow wrote:Latest offer has gone out to 2019 G Niven Glover, a 3* HS teammate of CJ Walker who's gotten a few P5 level offers in the last month. Oregon is looking at UNLV grad transfer PF Shakur Juiston. Originally a JC signee with UNLV, he played in only 8 games last year before going down with a serious knee injury. He did, however, average 14.6 PPG during his first season with the Rebels back in 2017-18.

Any talk on which way Thomas might be leaning? We really need to get somebody before all the option run out. But I have no idea if ASU has been putting on the full court press or if Altman was able to sell him over the weekend.

If I was choosing between Altman or Hurley it wouldn't be a contest but some people actually think highly of Hurley and his bs antics.

247 seems to be hinting that we are going to lose him to ASU today.mattc94 wrote:Any talk on which way Thomas might be leaning? We really need to get somebody before all the option run out. So if I had to guess, i would say he picks Oregon since it feels like they are wrong 85% of the time.

Supposedly Thomas is visiting Oregon today but it does seem as if DT is kinda guessing at this point. If Oregon misses on Thomas, they are going to be in some serious trouble.
