ESPN Gameday

Post by uodux1212 »

Gameday will be in Provo UT this weekend for the highly anticipated #16 BYU v #10 TCU matchup...

Its only about 700 miles to Eugene from Provo (flying)... lets just beat the fuskies and make it a no brainer for them...

I actually find the BYU-TCU match up really interesting. 2 schools in smaller conferences, but definitely have the talent this year to play with most the country. I hope TCU goes down though, don't need any undefeated teams left once the season is done.

Beat the huskies!

Sign idea:

"Yeah you're comin'
to Our citay!
See you next week in Eugene..."

The O in "our" would be the Oregon O.

I see nothing wrong whatsoever with a Huck The Fuskies sign.
Being on the campus of BYU I am sure I would escorted off!

Another idea (playing off the Sportscenter is Next sign):

Sportscenter (strike a line through the word sportscenter) is next
Gameday in Eugene (written above the word sportscenter)

If you look at the week 8 schedule there are a lot of games between teams in the top 10 and un-ranked or low ranked teams that could become easy upsets...which would def be good for us..looking at the next weeks (9) schedule there is not really another game that looks remotly interesting enough for Gameday other than a game that is already on CBS.....I think it is already a no brainer...as long as we beat UW

Perhaps, but where do you think ESPN Gameday should go instead? Penn State @ Michigan? USF @ Pitt? Auburn @ LSU?

Jw..

At Auburn or at LSU seem like reasonable choices... given ESPN's love affair with all things SEC Im surprised they even considered going to the state of Utah...

Keep in mind - Week 9 you also have

No. 3 Texas at No. 15 Oklahoma State

Could be a huge game for the Big 12 as well.....

#3 Texas @ #15 Oklahoma State
OR
#7 USC @ #11 Oregon

(Assuming we all win this saturday)

Tough choice. Who gets the nod?

September 5: #5 Alabama vs. #7 Virginia Tech (Atlanta, GA)
September 12: #3 USC at #8 Ohio State
September 19: Texas Tech at #2 Texas
September 26: Iowa at #5 Penn State
October 3: Florida State at Boston College
October 10: #1 Florida at #4 LSU
October 17: #20 Oklahoma vs. #3 Texas (Dallas, Texas)
October 24: #8 TCU at #16 BYU

They've already had 2 Big 12 match ups. All we've had is USC playing against tOSU.
