If he was hanging out with Colt it'd be a heroin charge.

The same thing happened with Damon Stoudamire. Security alarm went off, cops came in and found a quarter pound of weed. Stoudamire's case was thrown out, but here they're trying to say they had reasonable cause to enter the domicile. I would think Chung can get an attorney who can have this dismissed. Often times the DA will cut a deal with a first time possession offender where they do like a year of diversion and the felony gets dismissed.
It will be interesting to see if the Pats or the NFL do anything. Chung can say it was in his house but he didn't know about it. The NFL will let guys who beat women play, we'll see if having recreational drugs in your house is considered worse by them.

According to some of the reports and comments from neighbors, Chung was not at the house much this summer but had remodeling going on. Chung's attorney will certainly play this card if there is viable evidence. Lots of stories swirling at the moment.GoDucksTroll wrote:The same thing happened with Damon Stoudamire. Re: Patrick Chung indicted on cocaine charge
If that's the case, contractors having access to the house, then it's nearly a slam dunk dismissal. There has to be more to it than that, because that would be a *really* flimsy indictment few DAs would pursue if they weren't actively trying to get a big fish. This is before you even get to 4A issues.lmduck wrote:According to some of the reports and comments from neighbors, Chung was not at the house much this summer but had remodeling going on.
