How is this embarrassing? UNC is showing off their talent and why they're a top-ten team. Oregon just isn't fully at that level yet.

The fact that this will go down to the wire is quite impressive! Way to fight back ducks.

I know. It's like they only highlight the negative plays instead of the positive plays.

I love Pritchard but he’s gone for a little too much hero ball this tourney. They had plenty of time.

That shot by Payton was a good shot. Came up an inch short.

Oregon has needed a second shooter to take pressure off Pritchard and Duarte has done well but that’s it. Mathis better get his head out of his butt and realize if he actually showed up in this tournament Oregon wins.

Ducks make their damn free throws, this is a different game. Can’t beat yourself against quality teams, and they did.

We're a good team but we do have some weaknesses. The older guys aren't talented enough and the younger guys don't have the experience...yet.

Would've loved another resume-booster win but I'm still pretty happy overall with this team. It can't be the finished product, we need to be a step better to make a run in March, but with Altman's track record I feel really optimistic that we'll be ready to beat the heavyweights when it counts.

Juiston and Mathis better get it together this season. Need them to get where Oregon wants to be and seniors have to be consistent and not miss key shots and free throws.

I think they played the #8 and #6 team well. Add Dante and work on FTs and this team will be very good. I think you could safely say poor FT shooting cost them.

Two straight close tough losses. Proud of this team for making both games a fight when they could’ve folded. Obviously they would’ve been different if Dante played, telling me Oregon’s biggest opponent this season is the corrupt NCAA.

Negatives:
-Juiston and Okoro need to find some inner fight.
-Matthis needs to show up against real opponents. He was 1/12 from threes this tournament.
-Lots of players need a midrange game/floater, seems like for most of them it’s either three pointer or drive to the basket.
-Not sure it Patterson is ready for this level of play
-Free throw shooting, you could argue that alone cost us the tournament
-The team, mainly bigs, absolutely do not block out. It’s frustrating. Just get your butt on someone and push back!
Positives:
-Richardson had a great game! He can be unstoppable when he’s aggressive.
-Pritchard really does do it all, had some great shots
-Walker looked great! Hope it continues
-Lawson’s athleticism and size was very effective, wish he got more minutes.
-Duarte is a solid player all around, big time contributor for this team.
-They took two top notch teams with great size to the wire WITHOUT Dante!

This team has potential, sucks losing to those two teams, especially UNC who has the NCAA in their back pocket, but there’s some promise to this team. Definitely need to improve with blocking out and free throws and the midrange/floater shots, but this team without an incredible talent showed they can beat anyone. If they stay healthy all season they really have the potential to be a Final Four team.

This is as good of an early team under Altman I’ve seen. The fact they can compete with top 10/15 teams and win or be right there is damn impressive.
