As expected since there was never a single piece of evidence to back up the thought that he said it, but it's not like facts and common sense are going to stop some people

I remember the Canzano quote, but the one that's been posted all over and attributed to Herbstreit was “Ducks are the college football version of Paris Hilton…they’re famous for no reason, they look pretty and they got a rich daddy.” Certain OSU posters like to repeat it over and over and have it as a sig on their board and whatnot. There was a post about the Herbstreit denial on the Beaver Scout board, but it promptly got deleted.

Every time I saw this quote I challenged the person claiming it to be true to provide a link or any proof that KH actually said this. No one was ever able to do so. I never believed he said this in the first place... Even though it is kinda funny, a national TV pundit would have to be a complete idiot to say this on the record.

Clownzano on the other hand...
