It's what happens when you play a tough non conference schedule and this is the toughest one Oregon's had in years with playing fiesty Fresno St and Ohio St at Ohio St. In 2014 Oregon had injury problems all year because they beat a top 10 Michigan St team but they still beat Florida St with basically their second team.

Is it possible Seven McGee is hurt as well? I don't recall seeing him play at all on Saturday

Bennett Williams reportedly broke his fibula in an onside kick drill and is done for the year.

Don't think so. Pretty sure he traveled to Stanford.EncinitasDuck wrote:Is it possible Seven McGee is hurt as well? I don't recall seeing him play at all on Saturday

He's listed in the participation report, so he played. Probably on kickoff or kickoff return.EncinitasDuck wrote:Is it possible Seven McGee is hurt as well? I don't recall seeing him play at all on Saturday

Next year really should be good! Hopefully we have an experienced QB under center for the Georgia game.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

I’m guessing that one cost us at least 10 points

Re: Missing In Action (injuries)
These injuries are going to have a really interesting impact on 2022. One has to wonder, if CJ Verdell is out for the season, does he come back next year? He was certainly elevating his game before his injury, both as an improved runner but vastly improved blocker. And Bennett Williams, who was putting himself on the NFL radar in a big way, is almost assuredly going to try to up his stock with another season.
2021's loss might be 2022's gain. How those things impact scholarship counts will be really, really interesting.
