Does Darrell Scott become a fall-back option?

"The most highly touted CU recruit since -- well, since the last five-star running back to choose the Buffaloes -- executed the longest run of his short career in Boulder on Tuesday when he decided to head out of town.

No lead blockers necessary. No problem hitting this hole. The seldom-used, oft-injured running back cleaned out his locker Tuesday morning, then informed his coaches via text message that he will be leaving the program."

Since UCLA chose to pass on the former 5 star RB, what happens next?

With Oregon's training facilities, he could become the beast people dreamed of at one time...

If the ducks miss out on Lattimore and Seastrunk, we may show some interest in Scott. But overall, I think it's unlikely that Oregon will go after Scott.

He should have come to Oregon to start with. He would have killed in our system!

You never know. It's tough to read a person just from one video. But, Darian Hagan from that link seemed like a pretty genuine, upstanding guy. On the surface, seems pretty lame that Scott would just take off and tell him in a text message.
