Hopefully the Ducks can get a big lead and ride Blount in the 4th quarter to a victory!

Re: Tuesday Practice Updates
Barner also out with a quad injury that is why Blount has moved up. Crenshaw, Alston and Blount are the healthy backs practicing. That's kinda scary. I hope Dickson, LMJ and Barner are ready to go Saturday!

Not H1N1 though these are the players affected by the bug: Ed Dickson, Dion Jordan, LaMichael James and Keaton Arden. WR coach Scott Frost also out with the bug.
Practice was in the MO in full pads, high energy good practice. The benefit of Barner and LMJ being out is it allows the other to get a lot of reps as LMJ and Barner probably don't need the reps.

Re: Tuesday Practice Updates

Re: Tuesday Practice Updates
Does anyone know how they sanitize the field in the MO center? Guys spit a lot and it just goes into the artificial turf. No wonder they get sick. Seems like one big germ factory in a closed system. Then on game days they cover it with something and all those bugs have more fun underneath the surface while people eat and drop things.

Nice to see you thinking of the bright side there, duckscribe...
Astro turf is inherently a can-0-worms, er, germs, so to speak.
When I coached kids who were playing soccer inside Autzen, I recall Duck training staff would distribute aerosol cans of disinfectant to discourage infection.

Re: Tuesday Practice Updates
look at the bright side blount gets more reps and gets back into rythm with the O this way, if LMJ and Barner are practicing he will take longer to get up to game speed!

Re: Tuesday Practice Updates
Interesting. This will be a tough game for Blount to play in, but I believe he can do good if Barner is still shaken up.MFRDuckFan wrote:From Adam Jude ajude34 on Twitter ~
