I guess Lanning message - if you’re worried your coach is leaving, come play for us - resonated with him! Way to go Lanning!bellsduck wrote:

Unfortunately, that's one of those accounts meant to seem media-ish that is not an insider or a journalistic outlet. Just some person.
Right now, money is on Texas but Oregon could surprise.

Figured. I've been looking around for any kind of real verification but couldn't find anything. Simultaneously surprised by how many people have taken that Twitter post and ran with it.Unfortunately, that's one of those accounts meant to seem media-ish that is not an insider or a journalistic outlet. Just some person.
That said, he is following Lanning and several Ducks on IG. Anyone know if he's doing the same with Texas coaches and players?
Willie Taggart is a dick.

Since he's apparently from Texas, it would make a bit of scents... but stink for Oregon.

Agreed. I was already thinking that once Coach Meat announced he was going to MSU. Meat was main reason Nikko came here.StevensTechU wrote:I'm on Nikko Reed watch with this commitment.

Crazy that we just keep upgrading through. The NIL has spoiled us.StevensTechU wrote:I'm on Nikko Reed watch with this commitment.

Wonder if DeBoer saw that Bama has no room in the secondary for him, or that talent was better, and didn’t want him. Ducks may have paid better tho, if that was the point. Glad to have him. Anyone have an assumed starting corner rotation with this addition (barring anther portal departure)?

Re: Ducks Transfer Portal - 2023-24
Now add Jabbar to this and then how Spring Practices play out. It's certainly the kind of Secondary we'll need for our biggest games.StevensTechU wrote:This year, we had some safeties who were really good in the box supporting the run (Tysheem and Evan Williams) but not super strong coverage guys. Kobe Savage is an immediate upgrade to that. If the 5 starting DBs are
S - Savage
S - T Johnson
Nickel - Reed
CB - Florence
CB - Kam Alexander
Then my only question is how Kam compares to Khyree and that answer will tell us whether we'll be stronger or weaker in coverage in 2024.
