If the ducks can get an all-conference type of player in the middle of the DL, their biggest hurdle to the playoffs will be staying healthy.

That and some bullet proof corners! Poor play in the defensive backfield in both Udumb games cost us a shot at the natty. I know, I know, injuries...

I wouldn't even say injuries. It was a known weakness when everyone was healthy too. Washington's strengths played right into it.

This year, we had some safeties who were really good in the box supporting the run (Tysheem and Evan Williams) but not super strong coverage guys. Kobe Savage is an immediate upgrade to that. If the 5 starting DBs are

S - Savage
S - T Johnson
Nickel - Reed
CB - Florence
CB - Kam Alexander

Then my only question is how Kam compares to Khyree and that answer will tell us whether we'll be stronger or weaker in coverage in 2024.

I’d move Alexander to Nickel and put Jabbar Muhammad at CB. That would be the best case scenario. Also think Austin could end up being a starting safety by mid season.

I don't know where all these schollys are coming from, but I'll take it.

This is a very underrated pickup. One of the best DL transfers in the portal.

I bet a few guys may go from Scholarship to NIL package which seems the easiest way to skirt the rule, especially if the player has gained "state residency."

Pretty sure our RB transfer is nil only. Not in scholarship

Would be awesome if true. What would be the weak spot on our roster if we land Muhammed and fix the CB position?
