Marcus to Washington

MM8 just signed with Washington, he is no doubt in and has been in the stage of his career where he bounces from team to team. It would be nice to see him go out in a blaze of glory.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the way he was treated by Vrable at Tennessee really ruined his fire and motivation. He gave everything to Tennessee and to be made a scapegoat like that by a dirty coach must’ve really hurt. If you look at how that season played out and specifically WHEN Marcus was benched and Tannehill was put in it’s clear it was planned before the season and Vrabel, who is a well below average coach, tried to buy himself fan excitement and fooling the fanbase into think Tannehill was their savior when in reality he is worse than Marcus (as fans eventually found out). If prime Marcus started in 2019 with that team Tannehill had (Marcus never had a team that good), Tennessee might have won the SB. Obviously can’t feel too bad for Marcus cause now he gets to get paid a lot of money to be a backup and he’ll always go down as a Heisman winner, but sucks that we couldn’t see what his career could’ve turned out to be.
