One of the best press conferences i've seen from Chip. Great quote on the uniforms and Blount.

Those were some good quotes. He still seems like he has anger issues or maybe little man's syndrome. Love him, just hope he calms down a wee bit.AJ_U wrote:http://www2.registerguard.com/mm/index. ... hip-kelly/

I have no problem with Chip's attitude. It used to drive me nutz in the old days watching Belloti and his excessively even-tempered demeanor.

Chips says what he means and he means what he says.
The little bit of banter about the jerseys is very typical of the type of response you will get from him in interviews. I noticed it in the Pittman room first. You have to ask very carefully crafted questions with CK and sometimes it doesn't even matter then. The no nonsense attitude is great, he definitely doesn't shy away from making reporters his b*^ch

I remember after a game this year mike jorgensen asked him "did you come out of this game healthy?" and without missing a beat he said "Ya, I feel fine." Those little things are what i love about chip.

Dude exactly. Bellotti's press conferences & just about every other coaches for that matter, would put me to sleep. I actually looked forward to watching Kelly's this year & would be cracking up while watching them. I just love the guy & wouldn't take any other coach in the nation over him.AJ_U wrote:I remember after a game this year mike jorgensen asked him "did you come out of this game healthy?" and without missing a beat he said "Ya, I feel fine."
