For anyone who's gotten it, how is Black Ops so far?

Black Ops is great, except sniping sucks. It's so much harder, which sucks for me because I was a beast sniper in mw2, and I only sniped in mw2.

Only played a couple games, but everything seems more balanced. Grenade launchers and killstreaks are less powerful so you have to rely more on skill. I like it a lot better

Has anyone figured out how to do invites? I can't join or invite anyone to a party/game

If you are on PS3, just click triangle when your in a lobby. Then select the user you want to invite by pressing the select button (the rectangle button).

That will invite that user to your lobby.

I like how you have to unlock weapons then have to buy them and their attachments. The contract section is pretty badass too. I keep getting killed by the remote control cars tho lol

I've been thinking of getting the game but am a little concerned about sniping being a bit messed up. From what I've read, it does seem like they have been able to curb noob tubers and toned down some of the perks and killstreaks for more balance.

Sniping is extremely difficult. I was getting an AC-130 like every game in mw2 when sniping with my barrett. I was honestly like magic at that game. However, in black ops, it's so hard. Even hard scoping is hard, because the gameplay just SUCKS. Try it out once before you buy it if all you are gonna do is snipe, because it's pretty hard.

If sniping is that bad, then I can always use an AR or SMG since that's what I tend to use on most maps on MW2. I really only sniped on the bigger maps like Afghan and Wasteland.
