Softball: Ducks win first regional game

Jessica Moore pitched a shutout. Honestly, that was the first Oregon softball game I've ever watched, but it was entertaining.

I admit, I watched some as well. It was weird seeing the home run taken away because of the runner on 1st leaving early, but the ducks got the win. Congrats ladies!!!!

The game is on ESPN right now. I guess GTech and Oregon each have one win. 2nd inning Oregon up 4-2. GO DUCKS

NICE! Now all we need to do is win 1 game before we lose 2. I think these ladies can do it.

Their pitching and defense have really shut down both teams they faced. It's amazing what 1-2 good pitchers can do, especially in softball, where you see a lot teams get shutout due to a dominant pitcher.

That ball was crushed...cleared the building behind fence and well beyond...seen other homers on that field, but no others appearing to come even close to the building...Great job by the ladies so far...GO DUCKS!

Fuiava has been just launching her HRs. Her HRs are clearly going over and there is almost never a question about if it's going to get out of the park. The team has some serious hitters, but it's just a matter of getting everyone hitting on the same day. Hopefully they can keep it going and advance. I have a hard time thinking they will drop 2 consecutive games tomorrow.
