Need help or advice

Post by fanoftherain »

Usually I go away with the wife in January every year for a small getaway. Last year we went to Bend. We would like to go somewhere similar this year. Somewhere that there is snow and shopping, and other attractions. Any ideas? Thanks

Try Leavenworth, Washington. Nice for a get away with snow. The only shopping is specialty stores & shops.

Ok. I love Aspen, Colorado, but it can be pricy and I'm not sure how much availability there would be in January. Lake Tahoe or Mammoth are also nice.

We go to Salt Lake City & actually stay in Sandy, UT and ski all over the place. You can check out the area for shopping, but we always go for a week and have a blast. Very reasonably priced if you look on VRBO.com for rentals.

You can get great lift ticket deals on travelocity.com. Pay 3 days for 5. Tons of deals!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Keep em coming if you have an idea. I think right now Leavenworth looks like a cool spot. Never been and looks cool.
