Random thought, but it’s kind of crazy how the big markets still rule, even in the digital/social media era when everyone pretty much has unending access/exposure no matter where they are. Yet if anything, the hype among athletes to play in large markets seems stronger than ever.
considering the last two years and the turmoil in the program with coaches and not a great win/loss record we still finished 3rd in the Pac 12 recruiting wise. Pretty good despite what was working against us
That’s how I am viewing things. I think that’s the most objective response to the situation and how things have gone for Oregon the last couple years. Granted, there is a shorter leash for MC and staff to start winning soon. Moreso than WT.
We need some growth seen offensively. Oregon was fine with Herbert. Without we were horrible. Recruits look at that and are nervous because injuries are part of the game.
