Just interviewed Frost, talked about how well he developed QBs at Oregon. UOducksTK1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:53 am
Before that they were talking about USC’s recruits and Oregon’s name got mentioned alot. UOducksTK1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:54 am
Talked about how Mario Cristobal now only has dropped to the 2nd best recruiting class of new head coaches as of now. (behind WT) pdxduck - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:07 am
It’s been a while since SC was such a thorn in UO’s side. I don’t care for it. Phalanx - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:08 am
And in other news, Joey Harrington has decided he wants to be an SC alum now. Puddles is still on the fence, but has a visit to L.A. scheduled. pdxduck - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:12 am
Puddles riding Traveler instead of the Harley? I can see it all now. duckfan96 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:32 am
Sounds like a lot of the instate kids wanted to get out of Oregon...regardless of who coach was pezsez1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:48 am
Random thought, but it’s kind of crazy how the big markets still rule, even in the digital/social media era when everyone pretty much has unending access/exposure no matter where they are. Yet if anything, the hype among athletes to play in large markets seems stronger than ever. pezsez1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:48 am
Not sure if that has anything to do with college athletics, but still. I blame Lebron. GoDucksIn09 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:05 pm
Oregon still has 15th ranked class.... when was the last time finished that high? UOducksTK1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:17 pm
If you are going by 247 rankings, then 2012 is the last time (14th). GoDucksIn09 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:20 pm
considering the last two years and the turmoil in the program with coaches and not a great win/loss record we still finished 3rd in the Pac 12 recruiting wise. Pretty good despite what was working against us UOducksTK1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:21 pm
That’s how I am viewing things. I think that’s the most objective response to the situation and how things have gone for Oregon the last couple years. Granted, there is a shorter leash for MC and staff to start winning soon. Moreso than WT. GoDucksIn09 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:23 pm
We need some growth seen offensively. Oregon was fine with Herbert. Without we were horrible. Recruits look at that and are nervous because injuries are part of the game. UOducksTK1 - Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:27 pm
I probably haven’t said this in over a decade (if not more), but our running game this year worries me. |
