Oregon volleyball #2 seed, hosting 1st and 2nd rounds

The Oregon volleyball team earned a No. 2 seed and host play Southeastern Louisiana in the opening round of the 2023 Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. The Eugene quad begins Thursday, Nov. 30, at Matthew Knight Arena.

Oregon is hosting the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament for a seventh time, and for a second-consecutive season. The Ducks also welcome Iowa State and Hawai'i to Eugene. The full 64-team field was revealed Sunday on ESPN.

"I told the team this is only the second time in program history that we're a 2-seed in the tournament," head coach Matt Ulmer said after the selection show. "I think 2012 is the only other year. And hosting back-to-back years feels really great. It's something that I hope this group has raised the standard of the program. This is gonna be what we're shooting for every year."
