That powerhouse Samford
Taking Florida to the limit. Miss St has taken the lead over Aubarn.

Oklahoma lost! Now we have a bigger chance of going to the playoffs if we take care of business.
Now imagine if Purdue beats Ohio State...

I wonder what Oklahoma fans think about booing Rattler earlier in the year.

Seeing reports that Riley is expected to go to LSU. Napier just took the UF job. SC will now end up with some nfl retread, and UW will hire a HS coach or brown bag

Lincoln Riley shot that down pretty directly after today's game.buckmarkduck wrote:Seeing reports that Riley is expected to go to LSU. Napier just took the UF job. SC will now end up with some nfl retread, and UW will hire a HS coach or brown bag

Guess I'll add to this thread rather than start a new one, but it sounds like Riley is going to USC, not LSU.
Definitely raises the level of competition in the PAC-12, but recruiting just became even harder for the Ducks.

Did it really become harder? We still get a lot of talent from other areas. If anything it takes the talent Riley was taking from Cali to OU, and bringing it back to the west coast.
There is a good chance SC and UO battle for the conference crown for as long as Riley and Mario stay around. One run on Riley, they guy has only won one bowl game ever. When faced against equal talent, he doesn’t do well.

Be careful what you wish for because now Oregon has to play Oklahoma and I don't think it will be a pleasant experience for Oregon fans. Oklahoma might blow them out.
