What has gotten into the Mariners? They were very inconsistent through much of the first month or two but have just caught fire as of late. Hopefully they can get these final two wins before the All-Star break.

Mariners get the win streak up to 14 games heading into the All-Star break.

Mariners have acquired All-Star pitcher Luis Castillo from the Reds in exchange for 4 minor league prospects, including 3 of the top 5 prospects in the Mariners' farm system.

Seems like they gave up a decent amount for that deal. Would much rather have given them Kelenic and kept Marte.

Ducks, Rams, Pacers, Mariners, Avalanche, and Liberty are my favorite teams. Rose Namajunas is my favorite athlete. So, I like that you guys are talking about the Mariners.

Mariners magic number down to 1, about time they actually manage to make the playoffs, albeit in the new format they are limping in. Sounds like Gino is back and good and JRod will both be back healthy later this week so they are getting key players back at the right time. J Rod walked away with the AL ROY

Can't believe it's been 21 years since they've made the playoffs. It'll sure be nice once it finally happens.

One of the broadcasters in the UGA/MIZZ game at the end brought up the Mariners/Playoffs and his partner mentioned its likely the first time the SEC Network has ever talked about the M's, lol.

I caught that while watching UGA/Mizzou. It was certainly strange for that to be brought up. It does seem most people are happy for Mariners fans that the drought is officially over.

The Mariners are advancing to the ALDS with the 10-9 win over Toronto. What a remarkable turnaround for them as they were trailing 8-1 early on in game 2.

Mariners drop a 1-0 heartbreaker in the 18th inning of Game 3. Sucks for the season to end that way.

Was at the game 12 of some of the best innings of pitching you will ever see, then another 6 of while waiving at the ball going for the home run ball to end it . Longest timed game in MLB history at around 6:15h, (beats out another 6 h Houston home game that was 24 innings 1-0 win by HOU back in the day) also 3 way tie for longest playoff game of all time. Final record set was combined strikeouts by both teams, 42.
