Darn!
tbf that was the most pathetic 7-game series I've seen. +5 points total in the wins, -64 in the losses. Charles Smith got destroyed by the Grizzlies' block-heavy front court.
Smith: 16.9/8.4 in 36.1 MPG on a 39.2 FG%.
Had hoped Nevitt's stellar defense on Sampson (22.9 PPG in 38.6 MPG, 38.2 FG%, 19.4 FGAPG) and my much better depth (especially with Wilkins out) would be enough to put me over. With my aging core around Smith and my home-court advantage the rest of the playoffs on a win, this definitely felt like my best shot at a ship.

Grizzlies duked it out in a close, hard-fought series. T-wolves held them to 6 points in the final quarter of Game 7 but couldn’t pull out the W.

As I learned in last season's playoffs, those freaking Sonics turn it on in the 4th. Must put something in the Gatorade.
