Re: 1990 Preseason
Alright
Smith got the chance to show his quality and did well with his proverbial green light. Cool.
The rooks didn't go crazy, but they all showed solid play with no red flags which is the most I can ask of them at this point.
Taylor has finally shown some talent and should be able to hold down backup PG. Alford will remain the starter despite not really doing anything this preseason.
Winslow sucked. Had hoped to potentially slip him in for his defense but dang he's bad.

Re: 1990 Preseason
Les Jepsen showing some promise, averaging 11.4/8.5 with 1.6 blocks and only 0.7 turnovers in 25MPG.
Other rook was alright, Dumars doing everything BUT scoring, Rivers is a big disappointment.

Some stupidly good efficiency from my bench guys. Tough decisions to make.

Re: 1990 Preseason
Looking like Sean Elliot and Dennis Scott are both going to be able to be at least 2nd options while being at or below 2topg while scoring at decent volumes, which is pretty great for the future. They still have a ways to go to be big time though.
We'll probly hover around .500 this year I'd guess.

Interesting note that scoring is down across the league, will it continue into the season when the stars start getting minutes?

Charles Smith leading in ppg this off season… I didn’t think he would end up so good. One more boost in rebounds he’ll have three A- in the right categories for a PF.
Mookie’s turnover woes continue. Gill looking nice.

Re: 1990 Preseason
To be fair, he only played 7 games for 27 minutes average. Could have just been a low stretch. I bet he's closer to 1.5 or so with starter minutes.

Re: 1990 Preseason
Hmm, KImble had a bad camp, but his pre-season was strong in terms of scoring efficiency 50/74/40, got a bunch of steals too 1.1 SPG in only 16MPG.
