Re: Grizzlies / Nuggets
There are a lot of rules and stipulations in this league I have never seen before. Promising to hold cap space and doing trade backs? All totally new to me.

There are a lot of PGs out there, I mean, he's not significantly different than say Gary Payton, who is good, but not top 5. PG is a good 10+ deep with Armstrong level or better players and given that basically every team looking to compete already has one... not sure how much you could flip him for.
Seems like a reasonable deal all around to me.
No one else needed a PG or would have paid more
That said, the cap hold is likely unnecessary, but it is what it is now and not like the Nuggets are going to win a title next year based on that one thing alone.

on a sidenote, I see the early inklings of a ownage vs. foxy article.

Re: Grizzlies / Nuggets
So wait, I missed something on this... how does the tradeback work?
I assumed Nuggets had a bunch of expirings and could eat into cap space, but instead Nuggets are over the cap, so is it going to be Stoudamire and a bunch of crap going back to save Grizzlies like 1.8M against the hardcap?
