Was trying to trade up for Jackson just for him to fall into my lap. Hopefully he will pan out.

I was looking at trading above you... I would have taken Jackson.dennocj wrote:Was trying to trade up for Jackson just for him to fall into my lap. Hopefully he will pan out.

Do we have an unofficial ranking of the terminology?Oregon Ownage wrote:Top end in terms of potentialDrBradBuss wrote:I don't remember seeing "Elite" potential before.
Is that a new term?
It gets boring using the same lingo so changing it up some
Would elite be above 'Amazing', or or above 'Amazing raw'?

Almost took Cadillac Anderson at 18 - but I had too many offense-only big men, but think he's a great pick

Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
I have Salley who looks to be a good defender and shot blocker, so figured I’d take an offensive big. Hoping for a couple good TC’s to get cadillacs rebounding and defense in the B range.offtheheezy wrote:Almost took Cadillac Anderson at 18 - but I had too many offense-only big men, but think he's a great pick

This is a great question.
I would've said in this order,
Amazing Raw
Amazing
Elite
Great
Very Good
Good
Solid
Above Average
Average
Limited
Not Much

Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
Amazing raw potential means more loaded on strength, quickness and jumping department. Say u give someone 80 quickness, jumping and strength, ratings look good but they meant not sim well. If they continue to improve over time meaning they don’t lose their potential their ratings could look great. I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before. I usually won’t go below 35 on potential. 35-45 limited. 45-60 solid. 60-75 good. Great 75-85. Amazing is anything over 85. 88 is usually my go to. But I give top guys 90-100 rangebellsduck wrote:lukeyrid13 wrote:Do we have an unofficial ranking of the terminology?Oregon Ownage wrote:Top end in terms of potentialDrBradBuss wrote:I don't remember seeing "Elite" potential before.

Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
I think generally Amazing potential guys tend to turn out more often than Amazing raw potential.
