I know there's been a lot lately. We're doing our best to try to clean this up. It's certainly annoying.

Would having us re-register with a secure registration help? Or with this type of spam maybe not?

Hopefully that won't be necessary. I think the easiest solution, but probably annoying for new users, is to have each new registered member be approved through us via email.

It's pretty obvious to tell who a spammer is by their email, and they typically fill out everything in the interests boxes when they try to sign up. So manual filter might be the way to go!

I've been registered for a while now and that sounds really obnoxious. I hope newbies wont have to go through all that.
