1987-88 DASL End-of-Season Statistics

With a recent tidy-up of the method I use to grab box scores comes the return of the end-of-season statistical article! Have you ever wondered just how well your award winner played during his award-winning month? Well then this article is for you!

Some things to consider:
The time-based awards (monthly, weekly) are heavily influenced by games played.
The best-worst games are decided at my discretion. It may be determined by game-score in the future.
The best-worst games do not consider games where the player is in foul trouble. Sure, a Moses Malone game where he plays 15 minutes is probably the worst but that’s no fun. I want bricks and turnovers dammit!
I kept the weekly awards condensed as I figured no one is really interested unless your player won the award. So it’s a nice balance between giving the stats and saving me time.
I didn’t use the players’ full names in the miscellaneous stats. In hindsight, that probably wasn’t the greatest idea and will likely be remedied in future editions of the article.
For the use of game score, the formula demands .7*OREB + .3*DREB. As the game doesn’t differentiate between the two, I instead used .4*TRB.
Any positions listed are determined by box score (and thus played-at) positions, not the positions listed on the team roster page.
