They expect to score in the 50s I'd presume and play something like a 3-2-6 with a heavy zone blitz presence and go for a lot of turnovers.
Does that ever work? It's like a permanent 'prevent defense'.

Usc is trying to recruit ALL the DBs... everyone else will be coaching up 1 stars to field a pass defense.

If you can't fix all of your problems in 1 season then you might as well go all-in on your strengths in the mean time.

I'm sure we're also going to see some NIL deals for "walk-ons" or something similar to attract guys in the spring/summer from them too.

I remember one year Neuheisel had a recruit class at UW that was about half DBs. It would be fun to say that it ended up as the 0-12 team, but that team was all Gilbertson/Willingham recruits.

The bright side with USC grabbing these DB transfers is that it might make Florence think twice about going there. With four CB's and a safety already in the class, the chances for early playing time are slim and none. Meanwhile, Oregon's situation at CB is wide open.

Saw the crystal ball Oregon got for Khamari Terrell out of Texas...and he also appears to have a USC offer. Hopefully Terrell or Florence or both like the Ducks better.

Does anyone know how USC sitting with their scholarships? Do they have enough for all these portal transfers and recruits? Are current players going to get pushed out?

They had like 18 transfers so they likely have space but it's got to be getting tight now.

Who is blocking for USC?

I see them bragging about the quality of OL coaches, but who are they COACHING?

They have two guys who were pretty good on the OL, Neilon and Voorhees (sp?) not sure on the names or if they’re back. USC’s OL has been awful against us the last two times but they get some good ones because they’re USC.

Austin Jones sucks though. Super nice kid, but was badly overrated. Stanford did him no favors with Shaw’s new offensive identity but he has the vision of CJ with pinkeye and the speed of Cyrus TD Likio

Yeah. That one was a little bit of headscratcher.

USC right now: We have room for 3 more RBs and 5 more WRs. Screw those OL. They never score any TDs. What do they do for us? Nothing! We don't need'em.
