Taller Elway isn't off, especially on those goal line runs the way Elway would throw his body out there.

Troy Hill with an 84-yard pick six vs. the Cardinals. Great seeing him representing the Oregon DB line in the NFL. Also, Pharoah Brown just scored a TD to put the Texans ahead vs. the Titans. Great day for Ducks in the NFL!

Great day for Ducks indeed. Herbert sets/adds to rookie records, DeFo with two sacks, Troy Hill with his league leading 3rd defensive TD of the season, Pharaoh with a TD.

Pretty crazy how the DBs from that 2013 team fared. Ifo with the career ending injury, TMitch declares early, almost goes undrafted and bounces around before becoming a full time starter, Troy Hill goes undrafted but is a full time starter having a career year.

John Neal, before he stopped giving a s***, was in the conversation for top DB coach in the country.

Yup, amazing run for him. It always seemed like DBs were the strength of the team. Having the DBoyz as a secondary - I’m sure LSU or Bama or Texas have something comparable but damn that was as good of a secondary as you could possibly have. But as you said Neal just got lazy or didn’t care anymore when it came to recruiting. I remember Jared Mayden de-committing to go to Bama and he said that Oregon wasn’t even returning calls or recruiting him, while he was committed and trying to get them to recruit other guys who were interested in Oregon. The Ugo Amadi wrong phone number story pretty much explains our DB recruiting.

John Neal was on staff last season as an analyst, but not this year. I’ve wondered how much difference analysts make, I would imagine at least some if programs are paying them.

If you lost out on a job to Pellum and Hoke. You’d stop giving a s*** also.

CBS has Penei going to the Bengals, and no other Ducks in the first 3 rounds.

It feels like the run-up to the NFL draft has been especially long this year. Ready for them to just get it over with. Can't imagine what this has been like for the guys who opted out this season.
