Man, if I only had the means... It's frustrating to watch a child, anyone's child, suffer, and not be able to help. Prayers and good wishes are great, and I believe they can help, but tangibles like being able to handle the food budget, pay the doctor and hospital bills, and a hundred other things, plus be there for support for your child can be a crushing burden.

My daughter had her thyroid completely removed last Thursday, due to cancer. Add in my wife's own ocular melanoma and breast cancer, and my skin cancer in the last three years, it wears down your spirit.

Thankfully, we were able to handle it financially, but not everyone has those albeit finite resources.
