705 Deadlift PR and appears to be on campus now. I'm sure it will take his conditioning awhile to improve but looks like he's been keeping in pretty good shape for someone on a mission.

There's not an ounce of wasted effort there!

No fat on those legs! That's all muscle! (Coach Feld has to be licking his chops!)

And for reference, Haloti's deadlift PR at the same age was also 705.

Impressive stuff. Lot of raw strength for Mario and Mirabal to mold.

I'm starting to wonder if he has as much of a chance to crack the lineup on the interior of the line as TJ Bass does. We'll see what kind of rust he has coming off his mission. Also, cool to see the kid and the school stick with each other through the mission, even if it was just a one year trip.

That's the kind of strength and body type, you put and NT. Hope he isn't in love with playing OL, and is willing to play anything to just see the field.

From the linked article apparently he only played center his senior year. Says he played every O-line position plus some D-line.

According to the article he benched 500 lbs. during his senior year. I am curious what the record is for the Ducks,

In light of this conversation, I watched some of Logan's high school tape. Clearly, his brute strength is going to be plenty ample for the college level. What I question after watching film is whether he can garner the flexibility to create and maintain leverage against really athletic players at the college level. He seems to get off balance and struggles a little bit to bend at the knees. Added mass and strength can and will make up for weaknesses, but against guys who are fairly evenly matched, low man wins. That's where Logan is going to have to improve from a physical standpoint.
