I should have bet money that WSU would coug it. It's so predictable, it's become a cliche. This conference is a joke. The funny part is that we all know some of these teams that lost today are going to become world-beaters in conference play and drag down the conference profile. It happens every year.

Are the recruiting services to blame for some of this mess? Coaches are trying to win in recruiting, but are they evaluating every player out west? I know for a fact 247 doesn’t have the staff to evaluate every kid and get the rankings right. And obviously lots of guys are falling through the cracks and landing in the MWC. It’s easy to tell who the 5* are, but it takes real talent to find the kids who are players that aren’t 5*. Mario has only proven he can recruit the 4-5* kid, but on the OL we have had a lot of those guys fail and quit for suspicious “injury” issues. No reason our OL should be this bad. Do you job coaches and turn over every rock looking for killers on the OL who love to hit guys and just love football. Not soft big kids who look good in shirts or vs 215lbs Hs DL.

Man, seems like yesterday that P12N was dominant. Now... lol. Can we sell the Washington schools to the Big-12?
Willie Taggart is a dick.

I finally watched a recap of the fusky game and wow, I can't believe how much their defensive line got pushed around all game by the Montana front. washington has recruited well along the DL, many times getting guys we wanted. But holy cow, they were just pushed off the ball over and over again by am FCS team. That's what led to a solid running game and QB scrambles that bled the clock and kept uw from getting too many chances on offense. The other thing keeping uw from getting too many chances on offense was that Dylan Morris can only hit check downs, apparently, and even then he misses a bunch.

^ Yep same. Honestly, if UW just runs the ball every time they probably win. They couldn't do anything on offense, but literally Morris would dump it off to his safety valve every play and couldn't hit a slant route to save his life. If folks here think AB is inefficient, please go watch Morris' snap from that game.

They have field-level tickets for single digits? That is pretty bad.
