Still shocked that they list KT as day to day. Surely it is just keeping him out of these games we can coast through as a precaution right? Don't want to risk a re-injury in a meaningless snap...... I hope.

My source just said Chip is officially back!
It will be announced at Autzen press conference tomorrow afternoon!

I think that’s the case. They will need him at Stanford fir sure and my impression is they are being extra cautious. Again only my perception.

Either way they'll mess with the depth chart they release as he was listed as the starter for both Ohio State and Stony Brook but they've taken other players that never suited for those games off.

AB - "feel good about Anthony, he looks really good"
KT - "he's getting better and better, so, still day to day with him"
Mase - "looks better, he's day to day but feel good about him"
Steven Jones - "I know you didn't mention him but he's good..."
Keith - "he looks good, practiced yesterday, was available to play but kept him out"
Bradyn - "might be out for another week, not sure yet but he's the one i'd say is doubtful"
Shocked Crepea did not ask about the ‘dust up’ and the end of game handshake.

If KT is not quite 100% but still able to play, do you give him limited reps to help him get ready for Stanford or is he experienced and physically gifted enough that he doesn’t need the reps to get back in game shape for Stanford and don’t risk him re-injuring it? Ankle sprains are annoying, they just linger for what feels like forever.

I thought this article was interesting: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3497954/

One thing that stuck out was the greatly increased chance of spraining the ankle again. I assume that correlates to some degree with how well healed the initial sprain is. If the MC believes that there is practically no possibility that Oregon loses the Arizona game, with or without KT, and that holding him out another week reduces the chance that he sprains it again later this year, I can see a reason for why KT is not being rushed back.

I hope they rest KT if he's not absolutely 100 percent. We'll need him for Stanford. If the Ducks can't smoke Arizona without him then we don't deserve to be in the playoff hunt.

Besides, the dudes we have coming back should provide more than enough spark to the defense.
