What's cooking for this move?

Re: Kingsley Suamataia entering the transfer portal
wow, first Jonah Tauanu'u, and now Suamataia wash out for Oregon. I know Kingsley was injured, but wasn't he on the two-deep at LT?
This is painful, but if Mario can fill the spot with Conerly, I'm willing to overlook it.

Assuming Banks sticks with his commitment, what's to say that Kingsley would have been over him at LT in the next couple of years. Sucks to lose him but not worried given O-Line recruiting, coaching and development. The fact that we have a guy like Walk starting and playing so well gives me hope that this kind of thing won't be as bad as it seems.

That’s a real bummer, he had a bright future, sucks to see him leave so soon. I wonder what led to this decision.

I have no idea of his family but mine would have welcomed me home for days one and two and then told me to get back to it on day three.

I have a friend that is a big BYU fan and he tells me BYU fans fully expect him to transfer there.

This would not be surprising.DuckMastaFunk wrote:I have a friend that is a big BYU fan and he tells me BYU fans fully expect him to transfer there.

Baffling. This sucks. OL recruiting/development has been super weird under Cristobal and Mirabal.

You don’t want to see another JuCo guy?StevensTechU wrote:Baffling. This sucks. OL recruiting/development has been super weird under Cristobal and Mirabal.
It’s certainly confusing. Not so much for Kingsley, LDS kid going home happens. But the OL retention and development is suspect.

Was really looking forward to seeing him along the OL but guess we'll just have to see how Banks does now.
