Mario is apparently gonna be on the John Canzano show today.

Really? One would think he is getting ready to get on a plane to Miami

If Mario had the decency to leave earlier and not allow his agent to play bidding wars, we'd have ample time to go after top coaches on the market and salvage our recruiting class. Now, this late in the timeline, we're left with choosing second tier coaches that are open to leaving and no staff is in place before early signing period...
Losing out on so many recruits and potential transfers is what's going to hurt the most. Program is going to be rebuilding a bit for the next couple years. Hopefully fans adjust their expectations and give the next coach and staff some time to right the program.
I'll adjust my team before adjusting my expectations. For example I've always been a fan of the Ram's but when they were depressing to watch I rooted for the Chargers for a little while. Might not have been the most loyal thing to do but didn't hurt at all in fact the Ram's actually moved closer to where I lived and got a great head coach so they are watchable now. I'm not even close to that place with Oregon in fact I'm optimistic because Oregon will still have great recruits and could get a better play caller. However, if Oregon makes another bad hire like Taggert than I think Mullens should be under fire and I wouldn't be a good fan if I didn't stick up for Oregon against a bad AD.

Seems Miami didn't want the press to ask about how everything went down.

Boy I wonder if he finds success or regret first. Seems so greasy.

At the very least he’s going to miss how good he had it at Oregon. Just because some boosters ponied up a bunch of cash doesn’t mean Miami is going to magically become a well run program.

Mario has sent out a tweet to thank all those at Oregon who made his time in Eugene special.
