Lets just say that beat down might not happen...karlhungis wrote:I saw sports illustrated ranked us at #9. Nothing like getting that pre-season bump so we can inflate a SEC teams resume when they give us a beat down.
To be fair, Ohio State brought their C game and we brought our A+ game of the season. IF something similar happens, I can see us winning. Anything worse and I do think the Bulldogs would beat us.ducksrock wrote:Lets just say that beat down might not happen...karlhungis wrote:I saw sports illustrated ranked us at #9. Lets just say that Georgia had best bring their A Game...
Or be susceptable to seeing what The Ohio State felt like, when the points were tallied at The Horseshoe...Or, Michigan at The Big House, ot The Volunteers at Neyland...
Man that was a terrible Tenn team that year.ducksrock wrote:Lets just say that beat down might not happen...karlhungis wrote:I saw sports illustrated ranked us at #9. Nothing like getting that pre-season bump so we can inflate a SEC teams resume when they give us a beat down.

Chances would be strong we'd be in as a #4 without knowing anything else about the season.DuckzRule wrote:A somewhat silly question:
If we lose to Georgia but then win the remaining games, including the Pac-12 championships, can we make the CFP?
Probably, in 2019 Oregon was top 4 with a loss to Auburn then the Arizona St fiasco happened. Part of it might depend on how Oregon loses and how they perform the remainder of the season. Unfortunately as we’ve seen for quite a few years now it’s quite difficult to survive the entire Pac-12 season with Pac-12 refs, you never know when they decide it’s their moment to shine.DuckzRule wrote:A somewhat silly question:
