DL Popo Aumavae out for season with foot injury
Some bad news for Popo Aumavae as he'll miss the entire season with a foot injury.

Does he have any redshirt ability? Worst possible news for this team. They missed him big last game. They can’t afford to lose interior D linemen, at least with his skill and experience.

Popo was my favorite interior DL since 2019. He was the only consistent crasher of the pocket from the interior. The 2019 game up at the Mistake on the Lake was his best game, absolutely demolished that tissue soft OL a few times and pretty boy Eason didn’t want any of that. I feel bad for Popo, I think this scheme would have been very beneficial to him.
