Also I can't wait for The Duck's cool roasts towards UW's mascot.

Passing D needs to improved. Penix has a good arm.
Our third down D is close to the worst in Division One. How will they address this?

Penix is streaky but the Huskies haven't looked great against strong teams. Also, our D isn't as bad as the stats indicate. Tons of teams rack of garbage time yardage against our backups, and our redzone defense is solid.
Looking forward to another Huskies loss.

I know there's lots of argument about whether our defense is average or bad. In itself, that isn't very promising. I'm glad the Ducks are at home. I'm going to be sweating this one because it's a classic case of one team being better than the other, but the worse team having a strength that matches the better team's weakness.

Always worried about rivalry games. But not worried about the Ducks offense. Can UW stop Oregon, at home? I don’t think so. The Ducks will give up some points, but outscore them. 45-31 Ducks. UW is no defensive juggernaut. With the Conerly TD, Nix TD catch, Sewell rushing TD…was all set up to make UW have to prepare for the unexpected. Dilly will have more tricks up his sleeve.

Our defense is according to Football Outsiders (who factors out garbage time ) is by median and medium exactly average. (20 spots better than Washington). I cant prove it because I havent recorded where we ranked each week but i believe that our defense has been improving throughout the season and would be above average in a rolling time weighted average.
Heck the improvement of our boundary pass defense even without the benefit of all-22 film is obvious. Just think of how little you see Bridges being beat or even targeted compared to early in the year.

Apply so much pressure the Penix goes flaccid and leaves the pocket.bdkipe wrote:My key: We can't let the Penix stay erect in the pocket
