Yeah, I'm not sure what Bowl game would excite me. If there was a way to get in the Gator Bowl I'd be ok with that. I'd like for the Ducks to play Clemson or North Carolina. Maybe a win over them would make this program have some positive momentum.QuackininBama wrote:The year is over. Dillingham is gone. Coaches negotiating for their next job mid-season can seriously go eff themselves.

Obviously not right to hit a fan, but what did the fan say to him prior to getting tapped? One thing we always said in our squad, “talk sh*t and get ready to eat fist”dthomas=ddixon wrote:

Agreed. Sent it to my beaver fan friends and they said the same thing. Fans can storm the field and can say whatever they want to the players. Just like in any other scenario in life, if you’re going to talk ish in someone face expect to get popped.OfaFeather wrote:Obviously not right to hit a fan, but what did the fan say to him prior to getting tapped? I'm cool with it just like I was cool with Blount doing what he did. You have to show some time of heart out there is better than nothing.dthomas=ddixon wrote:

Lol really? I don’t care what a fan says, if you’re a player you NEVER punch a fan after the game unless it’s self defense, and even worse that was a sucker punch. Just get off the field. I’m guessing that’s the last time we have seen DJ in a Jersey this season.

Can someone explain how we close?
We had a 470-320yd advantage in yards and a 3-0 advantage in turnovers. Seems impossible to lose a game with those stats.

A blocked punt and fumbled punt tackled at the 2 are not counted as turnovers, but might as well be. Suppose you could also apply that to a turnover on downs in your own territory. Really, the defense’s inability to stop the run knowing it was coming, while having run D be their strength all season is baffling. Still hard to explain, but s*** happens. I still consider it a successful first season based on preseason expectations and a young staff.dd10snoop28 wrote:Can someone explain how we close?

This makes it feel like all the college football I watched this year was a waste. I'm going to be sad about this one for a while. It sucks being an Oregon fan and I'm pretty sure the Ducks are cursed.

I don’t know if this is facetious or not. Chip recruits worse and his best season at UCLA was no better than Lanning’s first season at the helm.dd10snoop28 wrote:I told y'all we shoulda hired Chip.
