unCivil War
Throw all the records out. All of the stats. This game is almost always decided by emotion and turnovers. Who wants it more? I hope Bo can continue to rehab his ankle (unless it's some sort of mild high ankle sprain it should be almost 100% by gametime) unless he tweaks it somehow. Personally I'd be very careful with his practices this week. I think if we stop the run and force OSewes' QB to beat us with his arm we will have a great shot of winning. Just hope we don't have the turnovers that we had Saturday.
Go DUCKS!!!
Pound those beavers.
P.S. You know how to find Corvallis? Go North until you smell it and then go West until you step in it.
Sorry, couldn't help myself.

For sure, but Utah’s defensive game plan in the first half is pretty lousy. They should have been way more aggressive and stacking the box more. I expect OSU to bring pressure and play to stuff the run and make Nix use his feet.chapelhillduck wrote:If Nix can pull it every once in a while it will help tooUOducksTK1 wrote:If our defense shows up like they did yesterday, Oregon will win. So I don’t expect Oregon to score a lot in the civil war, so really hoping our D has one of their better games on Saturday!

I think the fact that people have to add a disclaimer about not being racist when recounting historical events is a poor reflection of our current state.Alan wrote:dthomas=ddixon wrote:
My apologies for the tangent, just wanted to provide some history in what tithe actual Civil War was about and I in no way condone racism, by any race, or the inhumane act of slavery. Back to football please….

Would love if we stayed talking about the Civil War (football game) rather than the American Civil War, or civil wars of nations across the globe that are equally as irrelevant in this context. Please and thank you.

Oregon is a 3.5 point favorite to start the week.

I'll have to tune into the Beaver coverage to see who's in and who's out for them. Alex Austin didn't play at ASU, and he and Rezjohn Wright are a problem at the corner spots (easily best tandem in the conference).

Is Musgrave hurt? I've read very favorable draft reports on him recently. Potential Day 2 selection.

He's been out most of the year. Jake Overman is a good blocker but not much of a receiving threat, while freshman Jack Velling is emerging as a receiving threat but not the blocker. Velling was sorely under-recruited and underrated as a recruit. He's going to be a problem for the next few years in the Pac-12.Duck07 wrote:Is Musgrave hurt?
