One thing that been consistently bad to garbage has been our special teams. They almost missed that PAT. They have been awful in other facets of ST throughout the year.
I can understand our shortcomings on defense as not having the right players for lannings scheme. But does lorig get the same didnt have the players needed card for his bottom of the conference special teams this year?
Its nice to see bo has still got it and makes me wonder how the playbook for big yard plays suddenly opened up and he started making monster throws on the last two drives. Was he still nursing his prior injury?

Each side made adjustments for us as the Offense did start running DBs off as Klatt kept pointing out with the clear-outs. Also, the Defense had been playing fairly well in the 1st half, its just that with the toe-kick Pick that set-up the quick score, that 10/14-point swing was a big momentum shift.chapelhillduck wrote:Am I crazy or did Tosh actually make second half adjustments?
No doubt this win will help keep the spirits high as a lot of those guys on the field all return.

What a finish to the game and the season. I don't think was breathing for like the last couple minutes there.

That was a lot of fun there at the end. Defense did really well against Maye. Great seeing Lanning and the players so happy; great way to end the season and awesome getting to 10 wins.

Two takeaways from this game:
1) Bo Nix clearly isn't healthy yet, and by the end of the third quarter I was ready to tip my hat to his effort even if we couldn't get the W. Our offense just isn't the same when the QB poses no real threat to run the ball.
2) BONNNNG!!!!!!!!!
GO DUCKS!!!

Why do you hope that? I hope every duck fan enjoyed this win, especially after they lost to UW and OSU in the same season. We are getting precious little from all those stars Mario chased, so savor this victory.droop10 wrote:I doubt he did, but I sincerely hope QuackinBama turned the game off and got to experience 0 joy from the comeback.
