Bruce Feldman indicated this right after kickoff of the game yesterday. A conspiracy theorist might surmise that Baylor did that on purpose because the timing was quite... interesting.

I was wondering about that too. If anything, seemed considerate of Oregon to wait until kickoff.

I'm sure Lanning and Malchow have a list of replacements to go interview already.

I thought our safeties actually took a step backwards this year. Might not be a big loss for the staff. I wonder if we will go get Hayward back? Seemed like Mario did him dirty.

Mario and Heyward did not get along at all. He was definitely not in Mario's clique with Salvea and Feld etc.

Ironically yeah, safety play felt poor this season. To be fair, we aren’t oozing with safety talent either though.

Haven't seen any rumors about it, but I hope it's not Trent Figg.

Based on the reactions to the recent On3 article about potential replacements, it sounds like some of the names brought up have been Donte Williams, Keith Heyward, and Rod Chance. Another name that was brought up by both the article and recruits was Rashad Wadood, who was the assistant DBs coach for Oregon this past season.

No thanks to Donte. That guy can eat a whole bag of D.

And I read the article, I don’t thin hop knows who is being looked at by Lanning. He is just guessing. Bet it ends up being someone not on the list.

Also saw OSU DBs coach Blue Adams mentioned as well.
